Maila Labadie provides representation and legal counsel to Liebert Cassidy Whitmore clients in matters pertaining to education, employment and labor law.
Prior to joining Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, Maila was a law clerk at a municipal law firm where she assisted public entity clients in a variety of general law issues.
While attending law school, Maila worked as a judicial extern with the Office of the Staff Attorneys at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and with the Honorable Garland E. Burrell, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. Maila was also an intern with the San Francisco City Attorney's Office in the Workers' Compensation Division. She was a Senior Notes & Comments Editor for the UC Davis Law Review, provided assistance to indigent clients through the UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic, and competed in the Williams Institute Moot Court Competition at UCLA School of Law.
As an undergraduate, Maila majored in Political Science and Spanish at Washington University in St. Louis and studied abroad in Santiago, Chile. She is fluent in Spanish.
